Vienna is characterized by its small town feel along Church St. though the main street through town is Maple Ave. (123), which has an assortment of stores and restaurants.  The old W&OD railway bed is now a park and serves as a biking path for Vienna and Oakton.

Homes in the area are characterized by small, city type lots with many lots/homes being purchased, razed, and a new larger home taking it’s place.  This is one of the few areas in Virginia where you will find sidewalks in the subdivisions and town parks.  The northern section of the Vienna mailing but outside the town limits has larger lots and borders Great Falls.  Vienna is home to Wolf Trap, National Park for the Performing Arts, where you can go to see a concert, children’s shows,  or an opera.

The high schools are Madison High School and McLean High School, the private school closest is Paul IV and it’s feeder schools.

Public transportation is the Vienna and Dunn Loring Metro stops.
